The Roxbury Russet is America's first Apple - discovered around 1630 in a pocket of land that would later become Roxbury, MA. At the time it was the apple of choice for hard cider, but over time it has nearly disappeared into folklore.
We've spent the last year hand collecting as many Roxbury Russets as we could from various plots around Roxbury and New England. We hope you enjoy the forgotten fruits of our labor.
