Artifact Cider Project is a micro-cidery started by two best friends - Jake, a farmer, and Soham, a scientist - and brought to life by tremendous help from our community. Years ago, we discovered what cider could be: dry, complex, and refreshing. Since then, we’ve explored far and wide, running numerous experiments, reading entire libraries, and diving hands first into local agriculture.

We call Springfield, Massachusetts home, in a small, humble facility we gutted and rebuilt nail by nail at Gasoline Alley in the winter of 2013. We were ecstatic to launch our first cider in June of 2014 and inspired by the support we have received since.

This is just the beginning of our adventure. There are miles left to dig, countless artifacts to discover, and we couldn't be more excited about what is to come next.

Welcome to the Project. Artifact is yours, as much as it is ours.

Our project is to revive, reinvent, and reintroduce American craft cider.
We try our best to keep these in stock year round.

New World

Our signature contemporary American cider. New World is crafted with care to inspire the spirit of adventure and discovery in us all.

Wild Thing

Juicy, tart, and complex, this sessionable cider is designed to complement the unpredictable nature of wild fermentation.

Our take on the tiredest sub-genre of mass market ciders. This "honey" cider is bone-dry, refreshingly tart, and full of unexpected twists.

The Heritage Series

The Heritage Series is an ongoing collection of limited edition ciders that bridge the past to the present.
This is cider with a sense of place - cider with a purpose.

BATCH #001

Our homage to the sleepy little town of Colrain. Heirloom apples from West County Cider's Catamount Hill Orchard are combined w/ spice & maple syrup harvested from adjacent maple trees.

The Friendship Series

The Friendship Series is an ongoing collection of small-batch, inventive, collaborative ciders.

BATCH #001

High Hops

This Galaxy dry-hopped collab is a celebration of the awesome hop culture emerging in Massachusetts. It's a big, hoppy, juice bomb overflowing with notes of ripe peach and grapefruit.

Made with our friend:
